Starting in November: Coeur d'Alene - Coeur d'Alene Resort Holiday Light Show  More than a million lights sparkle across Lake Coeur d'Alene at the largest on the water resort holiday light show in America! Features over 225 holiday displays ringing the boardwalk at the resort, plus a memorable "Journey to The North Pole" to visit Santa himself! Starting in November: Sandpoint - Holidays in Sandpoint You can find Santa at the Bonner Mall. There is a traditional tree lighting ceremony, caroling, and specials in area stores, plus live entertainment during the entire season.  Sponsored by Downtown Sandpoint. 208-255-1876

End of November-January: Coeur d'Alene - Journey to the North Pole Cruises Visit Mr. and Mrs. Claus on the far shores of Lake Coeur d'Alene where at "The North Pole" a magical toyland, with a variety of holiday themes, many with animated features, will suddenly appear out of the darkness. Last year they added an exciting new attraction: a Victorian Village is adorned with over 5,000 lights! December 2, 3, 4: Sandpoint - Kinderhaven's Festival of Trees 12/2 – Family Night, 4 - 7pm and free to the public.  Santa will be there, too! 12/3  – Holiday Luncheon, doors open at 11am with the viewing of the trees in the gymnasium.  Guests will then be directed to the 3rd floor auditorium where the silent auction will take place.  Buffet lunch at 11:30.  (Tickets are $30.) 12/4  – The Progressive Gala .  This evening's events will feature virtually 2 events in one.  Guests will be directed to the 3rd floor auditorium where the silent auction will take place with hors d'oeuvres and a no host bar.  Once the silent auction is over, guests will head downstairs for the remainder of the evening with a wonderful dinner catered by Ivano's and the live auction of fabulous trees!  (Tickets are $70, or a table sponsorship is $1500 - seats 8 people.)
