2nd Friday monthly April – December: Coeur d'Alene - Art Walk The Coeur d'Alene Arts and Culture Alliance has organized a monthly Art Walk, that takes place from 5-8 pm the 2nd Friday monthly, April through December. Starting in November: Coeur d'Alene - Coeur d'Alene Resort Holiday Light Show  More than a million lights sparkle across Lake Coeur d'Alene at the largest on the water resort holiday light show in America! Features over 225 holiday displays ringing the boardwalk at the resort, plus a memorable "Journey to The North Pole" to visit Santa himself! Starting in November: Sandpoint - Holidays in Sandpoint You can find Santa at the Bonner Mall. There is a traditional tree lighting ceremony, caroling, and specials in area stores, plus live entertainment during the entire season.  Sponsored by Downtown Sandpoint. 208-255-1876

End of November-January: Coeur d'Alene - Journey to the North Pole Cruises Visit Mr. and Mrs. Claus on the far shores of Lake Coeur d'Alene where at "The North Pole" a magical toyland, with a variety of holiday themes, many with animated features, will suddenly appear out of the darkness.
We had added an exciting new attraction this year, our Victorian Village is adorned with over 5,000 lights! You will view the show aboard one of the fabulous cruise boats of The Lake Coeur d'Alene Fun Fleet. Board at The Coeur d'Alene Resort Free to the public. 208-664-7268

December 1: Pinehurst - Lighting Ceremony

TBA: Priest River - Children's Christmas Party on Main Street Children's Christmas Party on Main Street, which begins right after school at River Pig's Inn. Santa Claus is available to take pictures with children. Children who bring in a canned good item as a donation to our local food bank receive a free hot chocolate. Hot dogs, toys, and other great items are also available for the kids. All of the proceeds from the Children's Christmas Party get donated to the local food bank as well. www.priestriver.org 208-448-2721

TBA: Post Falls - Post Falls Winterfest Community Celebration -  5 - 8 pm @ City Hall Plaza. Join the festivities as we kick off the holiday season with old-fashioned caroling, crafts and goodies for all ages. Bring non-perishable food items, unwrapped toys, blankets and gently used coats to place under the Holiday Giving Tree.

November28-December 6: Bonners Ferry - An Old Fashioned Christmas Carolers, downtown specials, live entertainment featuring Nancy Meadows, The Selkirk Singers and others. Christmas photos with Santa with or without pets will also be available.

December 4: Priest Lake - Sportsmen's Assn Wild Game Banquet/Auction-Nickelplate Restaurant

December 4: Rathdrum - December D'Lights  2-6 p.m. Saturday on Main Street. Lighted rig parade, food and entertainment, Christmas reading, Santa, art show, more.

December 4: Hayden - Hayden Lights Celebration The fourth annual Hayden Lights Parade will be at 5 p.m. Saturday. It starts on Dakota Avenue and proceeds south along Government Way to Centa Avenue.  The tree lighting will be about 6 p.m. in Hayden City Park, 8930 N. December 12, 19: Sandpoint "White Christmas" Dinner Show. Local great musicians put on a show at Ivano's Ristorante featuring Irving Berlin's "White Christmas" and other holiday favorites with fine food, plus selected songs from The Beatles, The Mamas and Papas, and more! $45 per person. December 12-13: Hayden - Hayden Chamber of Commerce Annual Christmas Market -The Hayden Chamber of Commerce hosts 100 vendors of gifts, crafts and art at the North Idaho Fairground. December 13, 16, 19: Sandpoint - Sleigh Rides and Christmas Trees. Gather the family together, bundle up and get ready to enjoy this family outing at the Western Pleasure Guest Ranch. Load up on one of our horse-drawn sleighs and enjoy a scenic ride to the tree lot. There you will pick out a fresh-cut, locally grown Christmas tree, while staying warm at the bonfire. Then gather the family and your tree and ride the sleigh back to the lodge, where you will be served fresh popped popcorn, hot chocolate, and coffee. Reservations are required; choose 3 p.m., 4 p.m. or 5 p.m. Cost (including tree) is $90 plus tax for a family of four. Each additional person is $15 (kids age five and under are free). December 22-24: Sandpoint - Santa's Traditional Schweitzer Visit. Santa must be a downhill racer - have you seen his outfit? He hits Stella first, then stops off at the Selkirk Lodge on Wednesday afternoon to make sure all the wish list are in. Passing candy out from 1-3pm each day, then leading a balloon parade at 2pm from the top of the Basin Express chair.
