Summer Season: Sandpoint - Artists' Studio Tour Artists are opening their studios for this self-guided North Idaho driving tour. Meet artists in their environs and see how it's done. 2nd Friday monthly April – Dec: Coeur d'Alene - Art Walk The Coeur d'Alene Arts and Culture Alliance has organized a monthly Art Walk, that takes place from 5-8 pm the 2nd Friday monthly, April through December. Daily Aug. 1 through Sept. 15: Sandpoint - ArtWalk II The first of two exhibits opens with art receptions several locations downtown. Each summer, Pend Oreille Arts Council coordinates Artwalk, an exhibition of art by local and regional artists in 17 locations in downtown Sandpoint.  During the opening receptions for Artwalk I and II, locations provide beverages and hors d'oeuvres, and live music in some venues.  

Outdoor sculpture will also on display in various locations along the Artwalk.  During the summer, the public can pick up an Artwalk brochure at any participating location or at the Chamber of Commerce and take a self-guided walking tour of the displays. September 5-6: Athol - Coaster Classic - 9th Annual Labor Day Weekend Classic Car Show. Nostalgic cars line up at Silverwood for one of the largest classic car shows in the region. September 5-7: St. Maries - Paul Bunyan Days -  Three days of Logger competition, food booths, carnival rides and games. September 12-13: Coeur d'Alene - Trail of the Coeur d'Alene Meet the challenge! Cycle 150 miles in two days. Bike MS is scheduled for September 12 & 13 on the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes. Enjoy the spectacular fall foliage as you travel the historical Union Pacific rail beds along lakes, over the 3100' long railroad bridge and through the ancestral lands of the Coeur d'Alene Nation. This tour is fully equipped with three meals each day, rest stops every 12-15 miles, bike mechanics, medical support and Saturday Night Celebration. September 13: Bonners Ferry - Rotary 6th Annual Kootenai River Ride - More Info Starting line will be at the County Fairgrounds. Enjoy the fall scenery as you pedal your way along the great Kootenai River and travel to the Kootenai National Wildlife Refuge.

September 18-20: Hayden - Hayden's Got h'ART Festival Over 100 artists participate in a juried event at Hayden City Park and surrounding streets. Artists' demonstrations in sculpture, painting, metalwork, weaving and chainsaw art. Expansive, interactive, "hands-on" arts and crafts activities for children. Over 50 food and crafts vendors. September 18: Sandpoint - Panida Theater Los Pinguos from Buenas Aires, guitar & vocalists, Pend Oreille Arts Council opening concert

September 19-20: Sandpoint - The Scenic Half Half Marathon on September 20th. There will also be a 10K and a 5K option along with a kids' run. This two day event will be filled with activities for runners of all ages and abilities. Health and fitness expo, spaghetti feed, more.
