Trio Concert Di Luna's Café, 207 Cedar St., hosts a
concert at 7:30 p.m. with the Jason Spooner Trio; doors open at
5:30 p.m. for dinner (available before the concert -
reservations required). The ingredients behind northern New
England's Jason Spooner Trio read like a bizarre musical science
experiment: start with a prolific, singer/songwriter (Jason
Spooner) with heavy roots, folk and blues influences, then mix
in a classically-trained bassist (Adam Frederick), and shake
things up with a rock-solid drummer (Reed Chambers). The band's
sound is a unique blend of roots, folk and blues focused around
a rhythmic flat-picking style. Tickets to the concert are $10,
available at Di Luna's. For information and to make dinner
reservations, call 208-263-0846 or visit

Directed by Andrew Sorg and starring Ron Ragone, Zachary Zabbah

written by Roger Rueff. It centers around conflicting notions of
character, salesmanship, honesty, religion and love that simmer
until they boil over as two experienced salesmen and a young
research engineer await a CEO whose visit to their modest
hospitality suite could save their company from ruin. Tickets to

Eichardt's Pub, 212 Cedar St., hosts the K-9 Keg Pull from 10
a.m. to noon as part of the Sandpoint Winter Carnival. Possibly
the most endearing event you'll ever attend, dogs of all shapes
and sizes sprint for glory down a snow-packed course pulling
appropriately sized "kegs" - for a chihuahua, that's a beer can,
while mighty rotts or shepherds pull full-size kegs. Dogs race
against the clock while their owners urge them on and spectators
contribute a cacophony of cheers. The $5 entry fee goes straight
to the local animal shelter. Bring your own dog to race (just
get there early) or merely enjoy the spectacle; you'll love it.
